My brother was admitted yesterday (29.01) for a heart issue..now he’s being given medication but has no diagnosis ans nobody is explaining anything to him. He has not even been attended to by the Dr. I will be reporting this further until we find a reson for such an unproffesional behaviour, nisazophendula nina, thulani nibheke
I am a grieving Mother who had just lost her 6 week old baby boy at your hospital on the 21st of September 2023. In that on the 19th of September 2023 my son was moved from MICU to NICU in the late afternoon. I was told to go home and leave him as they are no mothers beds in the NICU. I left my son in a stable condition and luckily I took a video of him showing my family that I am leaving this big boy at NICU. That is enough proof that baby was stable. I strictly advised that sister looking dater him that baby needs attention cause you cannot hear him when he cries as he suffers from vocal cord paralysis “laryngomalacia”. He was going to be moved to city hospital on Thursday.
The next morning I arrived at 10am to see him, I was told to wait as the dpctors are busy with him. No one called to advised on what transpired, little did I know that my son was found not breathing, and they not sure for how long he was in that condition. Apparently they was a doctor on site who was busy with another baby who helped to save my baby , but I was told it them so long to bring him back to life.
Dr kubheka and sister in charge took me and my husband to a office and advised of what happened, Dr Kubheka thought we were called, but no one took that initiative because they knew they are at fault.
In that afternoon Dr thula came and tried to save my baby but it was too late, he didn’t see the next morning on of September 21,2023. I was told baby had a skeptic shock which I totally don’t understand..
Negligent is what took my son from me and my family.
I am shattered and regret trusting your hospital with my baby Nkanyezi.
I am taking legal action against the hospital and the nurse who was assigned to my baby.
I won’t until someone is held accountable, this will happen to another baby.
Isipingo Hosipital has the worst customer/client/patient care service ever. From the time you enter through the main door to the security to the reception to the nurses and even the doctors. The culture is toxic the staff are very unhelpful. The doctors are rude, arrogant and condescending towards the (paying) patients the nurses drive the same agenda.
Service very poor. Starting from the ladies that work at trauma, no sense of urgency. The bed that i was allocated to had no buzzer. Had to walk to the nirses desk to ask for help. The waste that was not cleared. The fact that from the morning until 11 no meds are given to you until you ask them ( maybe they thought i was on a vacation) and the doctor that complained of me not being his patient and I asked him to send me someone who is willing to help. Dr Bhula has the worst attitude as a doctor
