It is 8.40am and store is all locked up. Signage says 8am opening time and the staff are all sitting outside wondering what’s going on. 17 people! No communication even to them.
Very bad experience!! Wait in the line at pharmacy very long. At tills there don’t accomodate anyone for card payment during loadshedding. Not even one till can do card payments. At this time of loadshedding we expect shop like Clicks Waterstone to make a plan.
Worst experience ever!
I have a repeat prescription for heart medication. So far, I have ordered via MedExpress at the Clicks Waterstone or picked it up in different pharmacies when on the road, always with the discovery card and without any issues. Besides from the fact that most medicine is never in stock and I have to choose a generic, it was ok.
Now there is a rather clueless pharmacist at Waterstone and everything is going down the drain. Tuesday, I tried to get my medicine and got accused of medicine fraud. Apparently, my profile doesn’t show any repeat prescription and they only can help me with emergency medication of 5 pills.
I had in January just picked up my set, in the same pharmacy with #1/6 from my repeat medicine and submitted my new prescription together with the order to MedExpress.
Now the lady told me there is no prescription and I have to bring the prescription every time. After my reply that I had the last stash ordered via MedExpress and never brought the original prescription after submitting in first place, I was told that MedExpress never submits prescriptions to them and they need the original.
After my reply that I have never brought a original prescription to my pickups before and it should be linked at my profile I was just ignored and told I have to get a prescription and bring it otherwise she can not help me. Even after she named a wrong and old address (and I clarified that this is not he correct profile) I was still told that she only can help me with an emergency supply of 5 pills and I have to bring the original prescription for any future medication needs.
For 2 years I get this medicine and was never told such bollox on the counter at any pharmacy.
Just giving up the discussion, I went home and ordered my new set of tablets via MedExpress for collection. Surprisingly, my repeat prescription was in my profile and ready for reorder. A lady from MedExpress even helped my quite quickly to change it to a new medication that is now covered via the chronic condition benefit. Wednsday morning I got the notification that the order is ready for collection!
Today (Thursday) my wife just went there and had the luck to come to the same pharmacist. Besides form the general rude behavior, she was told that one item is not in stock and I should have not received the notification. After that comment she was left alone at the counter without another word and the pharmacist disappeared to nowhere.…
Only after my wife was asking a couple of times, standing at an empty counter, what is now with the order and the medicine another pharmacist came and explained that one item is not in stock and it is ordered – I should receive a new message once it is in stock again (what I doubt I will receive, as the order status is already on “ready to collect”)
In short I never had such an arrogant and annoying experience of an pharmacy and will for future not use that store again for any personal needs.
Very bad service. From the manager.
Was Rude, inconsiderate, told me I don’t have money in my account after there card machines did decline the whole time, (I know its their card machines as I when to the in at the mall and it worked there). the Manager was just rude. Will never shop their again. I know CLICKS will not do anything about it but please people, stay away from this clicks
