Very rude personal in the emergency room, especially very rude nurses.
Utterly disappointed. The nurse read my diagnosis infront of my visitor no patient confidentiality at all. Also the doctor Cato if thats her correct spelling didnt even care at all to explain my results. It was a waste of my good money and aid scheme. As for the breach part of confidentiality I am taking this to court. That is disgusting
My experience as a day patient was very good. Although there was a problem with staff at 6am in the morning, other personal from the emergency room came and filled the duties of the absent staff. I was taken to my bed and a nurse came to assess and tag me. I waited to be operated on, but it was die to an unscheduled emergency operation that took long, which is fine because it might be me one day and then I would hope to be helped before the planned theatre list.
That said, once I got to pre-theatre and theatre, it was nothing but relaxing and friendliness that filled the room, even though all of the staff already had a long and difficult day. I think this was the first time in my life I went under anesthesia while smiling.
Dr Nadia Roberts, Dr Lotz, and the rest of the theatre team is absolutely no doubt the best. I felt confident being cared for and treated by them.
Once out of theatre I almost immediately got my food and was discharged quickly without hassles or waiting.
Thank you Dr Nadia Roberts for making my procedure the least stressful and most comfortable, and successful!
The service at the X – Ray unit is extremely terrible. It was very slow on 25/01/2023 when I first presented with a broken ankle. It was worse on17/01/2024 when I came for a follow-up. On the 25/01/2023, I even requested that I be returned to the ward because I was made sleep on the stretcher without attention. On 17/01/2024, I got there at 11H30 for an ultrasound. Surprisingly, when I asked why I was waiting at 13H30,I got an heck of an attitude from some lady.Dissapointing for a so called private institution.
